Before coming to Xi'an, I was most concerned about "walking less, avoiding traffic jams, and being convenient wherever you go". Draw a circle around the hotel, and within a radius of one kilometer, there are all the core fireworks and history of Xi'an. Walking 700 meters west of the door is the Xi'an City Wall Ring Park. At six o'clock in the morning, take a walk along the roots of the city wall. The city bricks in the mist carry a thousand year old sense of heaviness. The old man who exercises in the morning swings his whip and spins his top, and the old man who walks birds hangs the birdcage on the old locust tree, even wrapped in the relaxation of old Xi'an in the wind. Ten minutes south is the Yunju Temple in Xiwutai. The red walled ancient temple is hidden in the alleys of the old city, with few people and a quiet atmosphere. The photos taken do not have the crowded feeling of internet famous attractions; It will take another 15 minutes to reach Guangren Temple. The prayer flag of Green Tara is fluttering in the wind, and the Tibetan style scripture pagoda and red wall are matched with the blue sky of Xi'an. Every snap is a big picture.
The most satisfying thing is the food circle that can be easily reached. When the hotel turns the corner, it is Sajinqiao Food Street. At 6:30 in the morning, the Rice-meat dumplings soup with pepper just out of the pot is steaming hot. The beef meatball of Li's only family is firm, sprinkled with a spoonful of oil and spiced with chili, and served with a freshly baked Bai Jimo. One mouthful of it is the most authentic Xi'an morning ritual. Take two steps along the alley. Steamed cakes, steamed buns with preserved beef, sesame paste Liangpi, beef cakes are lined up one by one. It takes you two minutes to Li Dui, 10 minutes to Zhiliang to pour soup Steamed dumplings, and 15 minutes to touch the old Bai's home in the deep of Huimin Street. Even the Zhonggulou business circle is within a five minute drive. After walking around the night market, you can walk back to the hotel without waiting for a taxi.
After staying at Grand Dynasty Culture Hotel Xi'an for a few days, I never worried about traveling: take the subway at the gate of the hotel to Xi'an Station to Terra Cotta Warriors, and transfer to the tourist line without detour; You can take Line 2 to Shaanxi History Museum in half an hour without leaving an hour in advance to catch a bus. Don't waste time commuting, you can focus more energy on the scenery and cuisine of the ancient city.
